Thoughts from a Delirious Mind

I have been sick for the last few days now, and true to form, my randomness has increased exponentially. It is nowhere near as bad as the last time I was in the hospital (I had a temp. of 105 or something and created a song devoted entirely to Orange Jello), but still, it's been interesting. Here is a short list of things I've been thinking about:

~Why do Walri have huge tusks if they don't have the leverage to stab anything huge with them? The polar bear on Planet Earth got hit three or four times, and no blood?
~How many people will argue with me about the plural of "Walrus" being "Walri"?
~Disney lied to me. I can totally eat a poison apple and actually IMPROVE my health at this point.
~What exactly is the difference between "pan-fried" and "fried"? I know what the difference is from "deep fried" but I think the restaurants are just trying to be fancy.
~I truly am fascinated by little kids' fascination with mundane everyday things, and enjoy how their imaginations work. Why do we lose that as adults? I blame MTV and Canada, as a general rule.
~Everytime I blame Canada, I think of the movie "Canadian Bacon."
~Next time I eat at Red Lobster I'm going to reserve my table under the name D. Cook, and order the Spaghetti Basket.
~I regret that I used to enjoy NASCAR. What the hell was I thinking?
~Who came up with Grilled Cheese? It's one of the greatest things on Earth!
~Why do the idiot drivers never get in accidents?
~Fish are cool. There should be more fish.
~"Pirate" should an actual profession, and should be legal. Not the bad ones like in Somalia, but the cool ones like Steve the Pirate from Dodgeball.
~I've never actually witnessed a tornado, and that bothers me. I would road trip to Tornado Alley just for that occasion.

In addition, tomorrow Sarah and I will be completing our excursion south to Alabama. Yes, that's right, one more season at Nature's Classroom! Should be a blast. Goals for this season are, but are not limited to:
1) Do not go to the hospital for any reason
2) Find out what the "The Big Scary Thing That Always Jumps in the Water at Night during UGRR" really is.
3) Finally be able to start a Flint and Steel fire without cheating
4) Regret that people now know that I cheated at the Flint and Steel fire...
5) And finally, be able to hike up Split Rock trail without getting winded... yeah right!

That's all I've got, ttfn.
